Named First-Team All-OVC … Played in 55 games while starting 51 …  Led the OVC with .425 batting average … Ranked second in the nation in batting average, posting highest average for an MSU player since 2010 ... Tallied 54 runs, 88 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, seven home runs, 40 RBI, and 124 total bases … Only struck out 14 times in 207 at-bats … Ranked second in the OVC with .487 on base percentage … Recorded 25 total multiple-hit games and nine multiple-RBI games … Season-high six hits against Massachusetts, which tied the school record for hits in a game ... Also had a five-hit game with four RBI against Eastern Illinois.

Attended Lincoln Trail (Ill.) Community College in 2015 and 2016 ... In 2016, he batted .309 with 60 hits and 38 runs scored while also clubbing 14 doubles and swiping 18 bases ... In 2015, he carded a .285 average with 15 doubles and 11 stolen bases ... Batted .291 with 32 hits and a pair of home runs in the summer Prospect League in 2016.
