Junior Katie Pfost set the tone for the Eagles this weekend, as MSU posted back-to-back wins over Tennessee Tech on Sunday.  Pfost first collected a 5-1 win, pitching a complete game while limiting TTU to six hits and only one earned run.  She struck out eight Golden Eagles in the process and did not surrender a walk in the outing. 

Pfost then followed up that performance with a save in the Eagles’ 4-3 second game victory.  After MSU allowed TTU to score two runs in the top of the seventh, Pfost entered the game with only one out in the frame.  She then preceded to strike out the remaining two batters to secure the Eagle win.
