Freshman runner Karina Manz has been named this week’s Female Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

The Hadt, Germany native led the women’s cross country team by finishing the Commodore Classic in 18:42.63, which was good enough for 10^th place on Morehead State’s all-time 5K top performances list.
 
Manz was 55^th overall out of a large field of 182 runners.
