Freshman soccer player Angela Black has been named this week’s Female Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

Black helped give the Eagles their first home victory of the season as she scored two goals in the 5-2 victory over Southeast Missouri State. The goals were the first of her collegiate career and came just 18 seconds apart.

The St. Louis Mo., native also assisted on a goal 55 seconds after her second tally.

For her efforts, Black was named College Sports Madness OVC Player of the Week.
