Senior libero Leslie Schellhaas has been this week’s Female Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

It is the third honor of the season for Schellhaas.

The Edgewood, Ky., native helped the Eagles earn MSU their second tournament in the last three years (2011) with a 3-0 victory over SIU Edwardsville in the OVC Tournament Championship.

With a match-best 14 digs, Schellhass became MSU's career record holder with 2,216, just surpassing  Kristina Schoo (2,215 from 2006-09).
