Senior center Chad Posthumus of the men's basketball team has been named this week’s Male Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

With his conference-leading eighth and ninth double-doubles of the season, Posthumus helped Morehead State to a 3-0 week with wins over Asbury (Ky.), SIU Edwardsville and Eastern Illinois.

Posthumus started the week by pulling down a career-best 20 rebounds in the victory over Asbury, before ending the week with 19 points and 14 rebounds in the win over Eastern Illinois. His 12.4 rebounds per game rank second in the NCAA.

It is the second honor of the season for Posthumus.
