Sophomore tennis player Briar Preston has been named this week’s Female Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

The Auckland, New Zealand native finished with a 2-0 mark in singles matches in the opening weekend of competition during the spring portion of MSU's schedule.

Preston has won 13 straight singles matches dating back to last season.

It is the first honor of the season for Preston.
