Junior guard Almesha Jones of the women's basketball team has been named this week’s Female Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

Jones averaged 22.5 points per game last week. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native also averaged eight assists. Jones scored 20 points and dished out 10 assists, as the Eagles won their season finale 81-74 over Tennessee Tech.

It is the second honor of the season for Jones.
