From right here in Morehead, Ky., and one of the most decorated high school softball players in Kentucky history, Amber Riddle stayed home and became one of the most decorated student-athletes in Morehead State softball history.

She began her career as the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year in 2010 and went on to be named All-OVC three seasons.

Riddle is still the program career home run leader with 36, and she also ranks first in RBI with 148. Opposing pitchers could not help but avoid pitching to her as she drew a program record 109 walks, thirty more than second place Rebecca Butler (who is also in the MSU Athletic Hall of Fame).

Riddle ranks second in extra base hits (61) and total bases (323), fourth in hits (190), fifth in games played (108), seventh in runs scored (101) and 10th in at-bats (584).

Riddle's career batting average stands at .325, and she posted a career .553 slugging percentage, both among the top 10 in program history as well.

She earned her bachelor's degree from MSU in business administration in 2013 and currently serves as a sales manager at AT&T. Riddle resides in Louisville, Ky., with her wife Lacie, and children Erika, Chandler, Zach, Oliver, and Clark.
