Bobby Jones was an All-American at Morehead State as a member of the track and field team from 1975-78.
Jones became the first Ohio Valley Conference Trackman of the Year for Morehead State in 1975. He was the individual champion in the long jump at the 1975 OVC Championship. He represented MSU in the NCAA championship meet in 1976 and 1977. He set school records in 100 meter, 200 meter, and long jump.
A native of Lexington, Ky., Jones was known as one of the best sprinters and long jumpers in the region during his career at MSU.
