Connie Appelman played on the women’s basketball team from 1981-85. During the 1984-85 campaign Appelman was named First-Team All-OVC. During her playing career at MSU, she topped 1,000 points.
Appelman graduated from MSU with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health. She also received a master’s degree in secondary education.
A native of Augusta, Ky., Appelman is the all-time leading scorer for Augusta High School. Appelman is now the District Technology Resource Teacher/Technology Integration Specialist for Paris (Ky.) Independent Schools.
