(Roberson) Puckett helped elevate Morehead State volleyball to a championship level during her career and became one of the top players in program history.
The Louisville, Ky., native was named the 2012 Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year after registering 500 kills. Puckett also helped guide the Eagles to three consecutive OVC championships and an incredible 52-2 league record from 2010-12.
She was a two-time First-Team All-OVC selection (2011, 2012) and was named American Volleyball Coaches All-Region and Honorable Mention All-American in 2012. Puckett also earned the 2012-13 OVC overall Female Athlete of the Year honor, one of just two ever from Morehead State.
During Puckett's career, Morehead State won 98 overall matches, and she was part of the first team to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament when the Eagles faced Purdue in the 2011 tournament.
Puckett's 1,521 career kills were the program's rally-scoring era (2001-present) record until it was broken in 2021. She still ranks eighth in career kills for all eras.
Her 32-kill match against Tennessee Tech in 2012 is one of just 18 individual matches of 30+ kills in program history
