Jodi (McMackin) Armstrong was a four-year letterwinner from 1990-94 in softball for Morehead State. She was the first all-conference softball player for MSU.
Armstrong played second base for the Eagles and was rewarded as the MSU Defensive Player of the Year in 1993 and 1994. While at Morehead State, Armstrong set the single-season assist record and career assist record. She joined the softball Eagles as a walk on in 1990 before earning a scholarship during her tenure.
Armstrong graduated Magna Cum Laude and got both her bachelors and master’s degrees from Morehead State.
