John High played football for Morehead State from 1968-71. He was a standout wide receiver, who led the Eagles in receiving yards in 1971 with 571 yards. He also had 49 catches, with four of them going for touchdowns that season.
High lettered all four seasons for the Eagles. He was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference squads on two separate occasions. He led MSU in receptions twice, in receiving yards twice and in touchdowns once.
A native of Finneytown, Ohio, he was a captain of the football team his senior year. At the time of his induction, High still held the MSU record for career receiving yards (1,995).
