Sallee, a setter from Florence, Ky., came to MSU in 2005 and wrapped up her career with 4,678 assists to rank second in program history, while she still ranks 10th in Ohio Valley Conference history in career assists.
By the time her career finished in 2008, she was named an All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. As a senior she also was named AVCA All-Region, leading the Eagles to their second consecutive OVC regular season championship. She was named First-Team All-OVC in 2007 and Second-Team All-OVC in 2006 and 2008.
Sallee holds the MSU sophomore and junior class record for assists with 1,652 in 2006 and 1,535 in 2007. Those two totals rank second and third for season assists in program history. She also holds three of the top 10 single-match assist totals, including her career best of 80 against Eastern Kentucky in 2006.
Following her Morehead State career, Sallee has enjoyed an immensely successful career as a high school volleyball head coach. She has served as Highlands High School's girls volleyball head coach for several years and has been awarded the NKY Volleyball Coaches Association Coach of the Year honor three times.
Sallee earned her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (Secondary Education) with a minor in Spanish in 2009. Besides coaching at Highlands, she is also a math teacher and a minister with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
