A multiple record-holder, King helped spark a resurgence in Morehead State soccer in the mid-2000s, starting as the Eagles' goalkeeper from 2005-07.
A native of Park Hills, Ky., and a product of Notre Dame Academy, King is the program's career record holder in saves (345) and shutouts (19) and ranks third in goals against average (1.49), wins (17) and minutes played (4743:08).
She also holds the program season record for shutouts (10 in 2006) and the match record for shots faced (47). King owns the top three match records for saves (18 in 2006, 17 in 2005, 16 in 2005) as well as still owning the freshman and sophomore program high marks for saves and minutes played.
In addition, King has the program record for consecutive scoreless minutes when she did not allow a goal for 795 straight minutes in 2006.
King earned the OVC Defensive Player of the Year honor in 2006 as well as First-Team All-OVC. She was named Second-Team All-OVC her first year in 2005 and was a three-time OVC Goalkeeper of the Week.
King, who earned her bachelor's degree from MSU in 2009, resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her spouse, Cecilia King and son, Beckham King.
