Louisville, Ky., native Atzinger turned in birdies on thr scorecards for the Eagles from 1998-99 through 2001-02.
Atzinger was a two-time All-OVC honoree (2001 and 2002) and won three individual tournaments during his career. He helped the 1999 team win the OVC Championship at Springhouse Golf Club in Nashville, Tenn., edging Southeast Missouri by one stroke.
He also finished as the individual runner-up at the 2001 OVC Championship in Richmond, Ky., coming in just one stroke behind the medalist.
Atzinger was a product of Holy Cross High School in Louisville.
