Reese Stephenson played baseball for Morehead State from 1968-71. He was an outstanding first baseman lettering all four years and earning All-Ohio Valley Conference honors three times in 1969, 1970, and in 1971.

A native of South Portsmouth, Ohio, Stephenson batted .304 as a freshman, .382 as a sophomore, .359 as a junior and an impressive .394 during his senior campaign.
