Stanley Radjunas was an All-American football player for Morehead State from 1936-39. He played offensive line and was MSU’s second football All-American, winning the honor in 1939.
A native of New Britain, Conn., Radjunas won Honorable Mention All-American honors as a junior. He played alongside fellow MSU Hall of Fame member John Horton, helping open up holes for the Eagle running backs. From 1937-39, MSU totaled an 18-4-1 record.
Radjunas also served as the head baseball coach from 1946-53. In those eight seasons the Eagles went 68-49, including one Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship and one Ohio Valley Conference East Division Championship. MSU’s best season under Radjunas came in 1952 when he led the Eagles to a 12-3 mark.
