TeBay Rose played football for Morehead State from 1936-39. He was a member of the outstanding Eagle football teams of the late 1930’s. Those squads had a combined record of 18-4-1 (7-1 in 1937, 5-1-1 in 1938, and 6-2 in 1939).

Teammates of those Eagle teams have said that Rose dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage and could have played for any school in the country. Many consider him the best tackle to ever wear an MSU uniform.

After leaving the University, Rose went on to have a successful career in school administration. He served as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent of schools.
