MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State Rifle team has a busy weekend scheduled, as they will host both UT Martin and Ohio State at Button Rifle Range.
Fresh off a strong performance last weekend at Rose-Hulman, the Eagles will look to make it three straight versus quality opponents. UT Martin visits Saturday, while OSU comes into town Sunday
OVC conference foe UT Martin should provide a strong task for the Eagles, as they matchup well across the board. In last year’s OVC Championship, the Eagles tied with UT Martin with their final aggregate score of 4515.
As for the Buckeyes from Ohio State, the Eagles will not be deterred by the name. Just 15 total points separated the two last season, when OSU outlasted the Eagles 4577-4562. With a chance to get things started on a good note versus UTM, and riding the momentum from last week;s dominant showing, the Eagles very well could come out 2-0 this weekend.
