MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State football and basketball radio broadcasts are now available on mobile devices, thanks to the athletic department’s audio streaming partner, EZStream.

Fans can conveniently access Morehead State’s mobile page at http://m.morehead.ezstream.com.  The main menu has options for iPhone, iPad, Kindle, Android and Blackberry devices.

The Eagle Sports Network carries all football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball games.  Both live events and archived broadcasts are available via the new technology.

“We talk about it being a three-screen world, with everything revolving around computers, televisions and cell phones,” Morehead State Assistant AD for External Affairs Darian Westerfield said.  “This is certainly another step in the right direction with our technology-based efforts.”

Chuck Mraz is the lead broadcaster for Morehead State football and men's basketball, while Jason Blanton calls the play-by-play for women's hoops and serves as an analyst for football.  MSU student Mike Williams is in his first year as the sideline reporter for football.

In addition to play-by-play, analysis, notes, facts, figures and in-game statistics, each broadcast features pre- and post-game interviews with Head Coaches Matt Ballard (football), Sean Woods (men’s basketball) or Tom Hodges (women’s basketball).

Football games are currently broadcast via the radio dial on WIVY-96.3 FM (Morehead), WMST-1150 AM/106.9 FM (Mt. Sterling), WLGC-1520 AM (Ashland) and MSUEagles.com.  Radio affiliates for the 2012-13 basketball season will be announced at a later date.

“In today’s society, college athletic programs need their broadcasts to be available to anyone in the world with a mobile device,” Westerfield added.  “Thanks to EZStream, that vision is now a reality at Morehead State.  We know many of our fans will appreciate this added feature.”
