MEN'S RESULTS | WOMEN'S RESULTS
EARLYSVILLE, Va. -- Senior
Jorge Gil-Juarez led the men's squad, while freshman
Kansas Greenwell paced the women's team as the Morehead State cross country teams competed at the Panorama Farms Invitational Saturday.
The course is the same that will be used for the NCAA Southeast Regional in November. The men finished 13th, while the women were 14th.
Gil-Juarez crossed the 8K finish line at 25:08.8. Greenwell covered the 5K course in 19:05.9.
The men's race also saw Eagle runners
Justin Moakler (26:25.3),
Evan Childers (26:31.2),
Hunter Trenary (26:35.6),
Corey Tooke (26:46.8),
Shane Rigsby (26:52.9) and
Jordan Carrington (27:27.1) finish among the team's top seven.
For the MSU women,
Mackenzie Butler (19:18.9),
Krystal Williams (19:26.8),
Gloria Corona-Luna (19:54.8),
Hannah Bailey (20:01.1),
Mya Faris (20.57.7) and
Alyssa Shifflett (21:45.3) came in the amongst the team's best seven.
Both teams are back in action next Saturday at the Greater Louisville Classic, one of the largest cross country meets in the nation.
