MOREHEAD, Ky. -- For the first time since 2008, the Morehead State men's cross country program has a First-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference performer. And not only one, but two.
Freshman
Farah Abdulkarim finished fourth individually at the OVC meet at Percy Warner Park in Nashville Saturday, and sophomore
Justin Moakler came across the finish in sixth place to both earn first-team honors. As a team, the Eagle men were third, and the Eagle women finished ninth.
Abdulkarim recorded a time of 24:42.9, and Moakler was close behind at 25:01.6. Freshman Aaron Weir (26:12) and
Jackson Cooper (26:19.4) were also in the top 30.
For the women, senior
Alex Morris led the way in 30th place with a time of 18:21.7.
Hannah Bailey (18:31.8) and
Erica Parks (18:33.7) were next for MSU.

Both teams will conclude the season on Friday, Nov. 11 at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Virginia.
