MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State's fall sports teams (volleyball, soccer, football), plus the cheer and dance teams, "Painted the Town Blue and Gold" Saturday morning as more than 100 students distributed and helped display schedule posters in local businesses.
"Since I am a freshman, this is a new experience for me," said Bethany Maines, a member of the cheer program. "We've met the football players, the soccer players and the volleyball players, and that's very cool that we can create relationships just by being out here."
"I feel like the best way to get our brand out here is to just come out ourselves, so I am having fun meeting new people," said freshman football athlete Jacob Wilde.
