Women's basketball takes seven-game win steak to No. 9 West Virginia

GAME NOTES
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – Riding a seven-game winning streak in the fifth installment of a seven-game road stretch, Morehead State women's basketball (9-3) is set to square off with No. 9 West Virginia (11-0) on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.
The Eagles' 73-59 victory at St. Francis Brooklyn last Tuesday made head coach 
Greg Todd's tenure at MSU a winning regime, moving him to 52-51 (.505) in his fourth season at the helm. With a 209-115 (.645) record in his 12th NCAA season and a 391-80 (.830) tally over a 14-year Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame career, Todd also logged his 600th career victory as a head coach in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Thursday's battle with West Virginia will mark Morehead State's second matchup with a nationally ranked opponent this season, following a contest at No. 22 Kentucky on Nov. 22.

After being named Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week for the rst time this season on Dec. 19, 
Erin Blaine exploded for 17 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in a 73-59 win at St. Francis Brooklyn later that same evening.
