JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – After opening Ohio Valley Conference play 1-0 for the second straight season, Morehead State women's basketball (10-4) ends a seven-game road stint at Jacksonville State (7-5, 1-0 OVC) on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.

The Eagles defeated Tennessee Tech 74-67 last Thursday, following a non-conference slate in which Morehead State won nine games for only the second time since 2001-02. Jacksonville State beat Eastern Kentucky 65-51 at Pete Mathews Coliseum the same evening.

Each member of the Eagles' starting five enters the weekend with a double-digit scoring average, led by Preseason All-OVC guard Miranda Crockett at 14.7 points per game. Tierra McGowan anchors Morehead State down low with 12.1 rebounds, the eighth-best mark in the nation.

Saturday's contest will be broadcast live on the OVC Digital Network.

Morehead State and Jacksonville State split last season's home-and-home series by a combined four-point margin. The Eagles hold a 19-11 all-time series lead.

Tying a career-high six blocks in last Thursday's 74-67 win at Tennessee Tech, Brooke Todd became the third Morehead State player to tally at least 200 career blocked shots. Todd needs just three more to tie Tasha Gales (205) for the second-highest total in school history.
