MSU Students can win $10,000 by sinking half-court shots

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State students will have two chances to win $10,000 by sinking a half-court shot.

Sponsored by G&J Pepsi, one student will be selected to attempt a half-court shot at halftime of the men's basketball games on Thursday, Feb. 23 versus Tennessee Tech and the home finale on Feb. 25 against Jacksonville State. Students will be selected at the game, so attendance is mandatory.

"This is a great way for two lucky fans to start off the new year," said Lannie Neal of G&J Pepsi. "We are proud to sponsor this promotion."

The Eagles host Tech at 9 p.m. ET on Feb. 23 (live on CBS Sports Network) and look for a season sweep of JSU on Feb. 25 at 4:15 p.m.

"We are looking forward to this promotion and the excitement around it," said assistant athletic director for external affairs Brad Smith. "Along with our season-long promotions, this is another incredible opportunity for our students, and all they have to do is show up for the chance to shoot the half-court shot."

Students are always admitted free to all basketball home games just by presenting their Eagle Card.
