MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State freshman pitcher Jason Goe has been selected for the Coastal Plain League All-Star Game, to be held July 9-10 in Holly Springs, N.C.

Goe plays for the High Point-Thomasville HiToms where he has fashioned a 1.29 ERA with 22 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched. He has only allowed seven runs over the first half of the CPL season, and opponents only hit .216 off him.

Goe did not play in 2017, taking a redshirt season. As a true freshman in 2016, he had 15 strikeouts in 17 innings.

Goe is a native of Dry Ridge, Ky., and the brother of former Eagle pitcher Aaron Goe.
