FULL GAME NOTES
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Hoping to sweep the Golden Eagles for the second straight season, Morehead State women's basketball (13-7, 4-3 Ohio Valley Conference) tips off with Tennessee Tech (4-14, 1-6 OVC) on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET at Johnson Arena.
Morehead State defeated Tech 74-67 at the Eblen Center in both teams'Â conference-opener on December 28. The Eagles emerged victorious in both 2016-17 matchups, including a 79-65 contest at Johnson Arena.
Morehead State is coming off a 67-65 heartbreaker versus Jacksonville State, wherein the Gamecocks utilized three straight chances at the rim to drop in the game-winning layup with less than one second remaining.
Darianne Seward and
Miranda Crockett, the Eagles' starting backcourt, combined for 37 points in the loss.

After last week's 59-56 buzzer-beating win at Southeast Missouri and 81-76 overtime win at UT Martin, Morehead State fell 67-65 to Jacksonville State on a last-second layup last Thursday.
