					MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State women's basketball team looks to keep up its hot start to the 2018-19 season as it returns home to host the Vinewood Farm Classic. The tournament event will pit the Eagles against Valparaiso on Friday at 6:35 p.m. ET, Chicago State on Saturday at 5:05 p.m., and St. Francis Brooklyn on Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
 
Morehead State is off to its first 2-0 start since 2014-15 after knocking off North Carolina A&T (72-67, Nov. 9) and Gardner-Webb (84-69, Nov. 11) on the road.
 
Junior guard 
Aliyah Jeune was honored with the Ohio Valley Conference Player & Newcomer of the Week awards after scoring 28 points in both road victories. The 6-foot-1 guard shot at a pheromonal 20-of-30 (.667) clip, including 9-of-17 (.529) from behind the arc.
 
Each Vinewood Farm Classic game featuring Morehead State will be streamed live on ESPN +. Sunday's matchup against St. Francis Brooklyn will also be broadcast on 96.3 WIVY.
