MOREHEAD, Ky. --
The IUPUI Jaguars visit Johnson Arena Friday night to provide the Morehead State men's basketball squad a final test before the Holiday break. Game time is 5:35 p.m. ET.

Fans can purchase $10 chairback seats by visiting this  link or can be purchased at the ticket window on gameday. The game will air live on ESPN+ and WIVY-96.3 FM radio. Free Santa hats will be available for the first 250 fans, and there will be a "teddy bear toss" for prizes at halftime.

Morehead State (3-8) will look to right the ship after dropping three straight games, but two of the three wins have come at home. IUPUI (8-4) is led by Kentucky native Camron Justice's 21.1 points per game.

Morehead State will be off for seven days of action before returning to face SEC foe Missouri on the road Dec. 29.

GAME NOTES

THE SERIES WITH THE JAGUARS
Morehead State and IUPUI have only met three times in their respective program's histories, with the latest meeting coming last season in Indianapolis. IUPUI has claimed all three meetings. The last time the Jaguars played in Morehead was 2002-03.

TRENDS AND TIDBITS
Jordan Walker has eight double-figure scoring games and five of them have been at least 20+ point efforts ... Walker now has 35 career double-figure scoring performances ... James Baker has averaged 11.0 points and 6.0 rebounds since being inserted into the starting lineup two games ago ... A.J. Hicks averaged 6.5 assists per outing in the last two games and has six games with at least six assists ... MSU's 51 percent field goal accuracy at Wright State was a season-best against a Division I opponent ... The Wright State game is the only contest this year where the Eagles have not recorded double-digit offensive rebounds.

3-POINT STREAK KEEPS GOING
Morehead State has hit at least one three-pointer in 383 consecutive games, dating back to 2007 when the Eagles were held without a made one from beyond the arc against Jacksonville State.

EAGLES CHOSEN FOR ESPN3 GAME
Morehead State's January 19 home contest against UT Martin (6:35 p.m. ET) was chosen as one of six OVC games to be featured on ESPN3 this season. All OVC games are always on ESPN+, but this will give fans who do not have a subscription the chance to wathc for free on ESPN3 and the Watch ESPN app. It is a doubleheader that day, and the women's game will also be on ESPN3.

BAKER'S DOZEN
Sophomore forward James Baker made the most of his first start in 2018-19 and just the third starting assignment of his career at Samford. Baker put in a career-best 12 points for just his third-ever double-figure scoring effort. He also tied his career high with eight rebounds in a career-long 36 minutes. After not seeing more than 22 minutes floor time in the first nine games, Baker has averaged 33 minutes the last two outings.

CRASH THE GLASS
Morehead State ranks second in the Ohio Valley Conference in offensive rebounds. The Eagles pull down 13.2 boards off the offensive glass, and the Eagles also rank second in offensive rebounding percentage at .327.

SWITCHING IT UP
Morehead State had used the same starting five (A.J. Hicks, De'von Cooper, Jordan Walker, Lamontray Harris and Malek Green) in all nine games this season before James Baker took Green's place at Samford.

HARRIS AIMING FOR 1K
Lamontray Harris has a legitimate chance to reach 1,000 career points if he can keep up his average this season. He has piled up 827 career points. With a minimum of 20 games remaining (more if the Eagles play in the OVC Tournament and beyond), he would only need to average 8.6 points to reach that milestone.

MORE HELPERS THAN HURTERS
The Eagles currently rank fourth in the OVC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.0. Last season, Morehead State ranked 10th for much of the season and never went above 1.0.

WALK(ER) THIS WAY
Jordan Walker ranks sixth in the OVC in scoring average, puting in 15.3 per outing. He is the last of only six OVC players averaging more than 15 per game. If you erase the game where he was held scoreless (for just the second time in the last two years), Walker scores nearly 17 per game.
