GAME NOTES

THE UT MARTIN SERIES
Morehead State holds a 33-16 advantage in the all-time series with UT Martin, including a 71-67 victory in Martin earlier this season. The Eagles have claimed eight straight in the series played in Johnson Arena with UT Martin's last win at MSU in 2005-06. The Eagles have also controlled the overall series in games at MSU, leading 19-4.

THREE-POINT STREAK MOVES AHEAD
Morehead State has made at least one three-pointer in 370 consecutive games, dating back to Feb. 13, 2007 when the Eagles had an 0-for-17 day versus Jacksonville State.

RAINING THREES
Morehead State drained a season-high 15 three-pointers last Thursday at Tennessee State. It was the most triples since Dec. 19, 2016 when MSU tied the school-record with 18 against Central Arkansas. It was also the most in an OVC game since Feb. 28, 2013 ... also at Tennessee State.

FEBRUARY BLUES
Morehead State is still searching for its first win in the month of February, having dropped all six.

OH SO CLOSE
Morehead State has lost 14 OVC games this year, but 11 have been by 10 points or less. In those losses, the average margin of defeat has only 6.8. Five of the setbacks have been by three points or less. Overall this year, the Eagles are 3-14 in games decided by 10 points or less.

ALONZO'S CAREER NIGHT
Sophomore forward Alonzo Chatman came off the bench for a career-high 10 points at Belmont. It marked his first career double-digit scoring game.
