Several Season Lows Established as Women's Golf Concludes Play at Charleston Invitational

RESULTS
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – In its final tune up prior to the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, Morehead State women's golf completed play at the Charleston Invitational. The Eagles finished 14th, fashioning scores of 314-304-307-925.
The Eagles' final 54-hole total of 925 marks the lowest three-round total for the team this season. Their second-round total 304 finished as the second lowest 18-hole mark for the Eagles this season, while the final round 307 ties for fourth lowest.
Sophomore
Gypsie Hutchinson led the Eagles, tying for 26th. She turned in scorecards of 74-73-76-223. Hutchinson tied her career-best 54-hole stroke total, matching her total from the NKU Fall Classic where she finished second.
Junior Ana Dieguez fashioned scores of 79-75-78-232, concluding the event tied for 55th. Her final stroke total matches a season best, equaling her total from the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational. Freshman
Barbara Roether finished play 67th, marking down scores of 83-77-76-236.
Seniors
Sarah Debnekoff and
Ebba Gustafsson rounded things out for Morehead State, finishing tied for 72nd and tied for 82nd, respectively. Debnekoff carded scores of 85-79-77-241, while Gustafsson wrote in scores of 78-86-84-248
The Eagles return to action at the OVC Championships on April 16-18. The three-day event is held at the Schoolmaster at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
