MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Junior Maya Andrews and freshman DaKorria Winstead both ran identical school-record times in the 60-meter dash as the Morehead State women's track and field team began the 2019 season at the Marshall Women's Indoor Classic.

Andrews, from West Chester, Ohio, and Winstead, from Owensboro, Ky., both crossed the line at 8:22 in heat two.

The Eagles also got a third-place overall showing in the 3,000-meter race from junior Caitlin Cunningham, who ran the oval in 10:17.22. Junior Shelby Watkins came in seventh in the same event with a time of 10:24.43.

Sophomore Madison Pelfrey was also a highlight, winning her heat of the mile run in a time of 5:27.98.

The Eagles will return to the indoor course at Marshall on Jan. 25-26.
