QUOTING COACH SPRADLIN
Â
"That was as valuable a win as probably any team in the country tonight. To win against a really good Samford team with four starters back, especially on a night when we really didn't play all that well, is huge."
Â
"We absolutely found a way to win. When you look at the stats we gave up (20 turnovers, 23 offensive rebounds), I didn't think we played all that well. We willed ourselves to win in front of a great enthusiastic crowd. You talk about having three freshman out there playing a bunch of minutes and a ton of new guys, this was an incredible team victory."
Â
"Jordan put us on his back. He had a tough night shooting, but there was no doubt in my mind he was going to step to the line and make those free throws to get us to overtime."
