MOREHEAD, Ky. -- WIVY-96.3 FM, the flagship radio station of Morehead State athletics, is set to broadcast select baseball games during the 2019 season.

WIVY, owned by Gateway Radio Works, Inc., can be heard throughout the Morehead area and region. The station also broadcasts MSU football and men's and women's basketball games. All but two of the scheduled radio games take place on Sundays.

The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety is the title sponsor for the Eagle Sports Radio Network, with additional baseball sponsorships from Downtown Morehead, Inc. and the Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce, Twin Eagles Realty/Randy Newsome, agent, the C. Roger Lewis Agency, Major Brands, Inc. in Morehead, REPS Baseball, Commonwealth Chiropractic and Domino's Pizza.

"We sincerely appreciate WIVY and our local sponsors for making this happen," said head coach Mike McGuire. "We feel confident we will have another great product on the field and first-class individuals in our program. This is another great way for our fans to be able to follow us this season."

Ryan Frye, who has served as the voice of Eagle baseball for the past two seasons, will continue to call the play-by-play for WIVY games. All other games not on the radio will be available on MSUEagles.com.
