MOREHEAD, Ky. –
In conjunction with former Morehead State golfer and current Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA) Tour member Josh Teater, Morehead State men's golf is set to host a Junior Golf Clinic on Monday, July 22nd at Greenbrier Golf and Country Club in Lexington, Ky.

The clinic which runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. is open to junior golfers that have not started the ninth grade. Instruction will be provided by Teater and members of the Morehead State golf program. The event is also part of an entire day of activities that includes the program's major fundraiser of the year.

Teater, who competed as an Eagle from 1998 to 2001, serves on the PGA Professional Staff at Greenbrier Golf and Country Club in addition to competing on the PGA Tour. On the year, Teater has competed in 22 events, including the Barbasol Championship in Nicholasville, Ky., which runs through Sunday.

Morehead State men's golf enters the 2019-20 season after capturing seven top-10 finishes in 11 events last season, including three top-five finishes. The Eagles enter with momentum after having fired the program's lowest total at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships (871) since 1997.

The Eagles open the season in mid-September, competing at the EKU Raising Cane's Intercollegiate in Richmond, Ky. Last season, Morehead State finished third in the event.
