MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State's rifle and men's tack and field team have earned Team Academic Achievement Awards from the Ohio Valley Conference for 2018-19.

The awards are given to the conference programs with the highest percentage of student-athletes on the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll. The Eagle rifle program won its third consecutive accolade, while men's tack and field has now claimed three of the last six awards and four overall since the awards program was started in 2004-05.

Rifle had 100 percent of its roster on the honor roll (all nine), for students with a 3.25 or higher grade point average for the year. Track landed nine on the honor roll or roughly 60 percent of its roster.

On Monday, 18 MSU student-athletes were announced having won the Academic Medal of Honor, while 100 earned spots on the honor roll it was announced Tuesday.
