Women's Hoops Adds Ole Miss Transfer Crawford
MOREHEAD, Ky. – After appearing in 28 games and making six starts as a freshman at Ole Miss, former four-star recruit and McDonald's All-American nominee Gabby Crawford has found a new home with the Morehead State Women's Basketball team.

Crawford, who was the No. 80-ranked prospect on ESPN's Top 100 after prepping at hometown Munford High School in Tennessee, is a 6-foot-2 forward who Eagle head coach Greg Todd believes will make an impact in the Ohio Valley Conference.

"Our staff is extremely happy to have a versatile player like Gabby join our team," said Todd. "She is a very strong and athletic player who can beat people on the dribble and will flourish in our open offense. With three years of eligibility remaining, we look for her to be a big contributor for us as we continue to try and compete for OVC Championships."

During her freshman campaign at Ole Miss, Crawford finished third on her team in rebounding with 3.7 per game while also chipping in 3.5 points per game on 39 percent shooting. Crawford's career-best game for scoring and rebounding came in the Rebels' 2018-19 season finale against Tennessee when she dropped in 16 points and cleaned the glass for nine boards.

Crawford enrolled at MSU for the fall of 2019 and will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
