MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State Women's Basketball head coach
Greg Todd and staff are pleased to announce the addition of highly-touted 6-foot-4 transfer forward Eternati Willock.
Willock, who briefly signed with Middle Tennessee during the spring of 2019, most recently played at New Mexico Junior College where she was the nation's No.2-rated JUCO post prospect and led the team to a 30-5 season and a runner-up finish in the NJCAA National Tournament.
Willock will be eligible following the fall 2020 semester.
"We're glad to have Eternati joining our program," said Todd. "I feel she will make a tremendous impact on our team and produce on both ends of the court. She will be a rim protector on the defensive end and give us a versatile offensive option that can score inside as well as shoot from the outside."
The forward earned NJCAA All-Tournament Team honors, while also being named the Western Junior College Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2018-19. During the season, Willock turned in 24 double-figure scoring games and notched eight double-doubles while posting 12.5 points per game on 59% shooting and grabbing 7.4 rebounds per game.
Prior to New Mexico Junior College, Willock starred at Kansas State where she was a unanimous selection to the Big 12 All-Freshman team. Willock played in 31 games for the Wildcats and made five appearances in the starting lineup as she averaged 6.6 points per game and finished second on the team in rebounding with 5.1 per game.
Willock is a native of Scarborough, Ontario, Canada and was ranked as the No. 6 international prospect by Prospects Nation and No. 33 overall prospect by ESPN coming out of St. John Paul Catholic School.
Willock also represented her home country of Canada in three international tournaments, competing in the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships for Women, 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship for Women, and 2011 FIBA America U16 Championship for Women.
Willock is set to join former ESPN Top 100 forward
Gabby Crawford, 2019 All-Big South freshman
Lauren Carter, and Scott County High School shooting star Morgan Defoor, as newcomers for the Eagles on the hardwood in 2020-21. She is set to finish her senior year of eligibility by completing her bachelor's degree in communications in the spring 2021 semester.
