Getting to Know: Men's Cross Country & Track Senior Cole Ralenkotter

MOREHEAD, Ky. – This is a new series leading up to the beginning of the coming sports seasons that allows our fans to get to know our student-athletes. A different player will be featured in a story on their responses to a questionnaire given to all of our teams.
 
This edition is on men's cross country & track senior Cole Ralenkotter.
 
Why did you choose to come to Morehead State?
Ralenkotter: I loved the small town and I wanted the opportunity to run at the Division I level.
 
What is your favorite memory playing your sport?
Ralenkotter: My favorite memory is when the travel bus broke down on us during my freshman cross country season.
 
What is your favorite song and which artist sings it?
Ralenkotter: Ric Flair Drip by Offset.
 
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show and why did you choose that movie?
Ralenkotter: Lord of the Rings, I love the story.
 
What is your favorite restaurant to eat at and what is your go-to meal there?
Ralenkotter: My favorite place to eat is any pizza restaurant.
 
If you could have one superpower, what would that be and why?
Ralenkotter: I'd want the ability to change into any animal. I could fly, swim, or run fast.
 
Who is your favorite professional athlete and what makes them your favorite?
Ralenkotter: My favorite athlete is Spencer Brown, the athlete special!
 
What is your favorite spot to go to on campus or in town/region?
Ralenkotter: My favorite place to go is Lockegee Rock.
 
If you could time travel to any year/time period, what would you choose and why?
Ralenkotter: I'd want to go to the 1770s when Daniel Boone was colonizing Kentucky.
