FALL WORLD SERIES ROSTERS

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- With the Major League Baseball World Series coming up soon, the Morehead State Baseball team will be holding its own Fall World Series Friday-Sunday.

Game times are Friday at 6 p.m. ET, Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. Admission is free at Allen Field.

The full roster has been divided up into two squads, with each team's coaches drafting their sides. Team Sherman (senior pitcher John Sherman) will be coached by assistants Brady Ward and Chris Rose, along with Logan Goodnight. Team Bakke (senior pitcher John Bakke) will be led by assistants Tyler Jackson and Ryan Layne and player-coach Will Grimmett.

Morehead State is coming off a 24-23 season in 2021 and a top-four finish in the Ohio Valley Conference under now third-year head coach Mik Aoki. The spring opens with a Feb. 18-20 series at Kennesaw State.
