RESULTS
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Rifle set the program record for Smallbore standing at 766 Saturday as the Eagles competed at the Kentucky Long Rifle Match.
This match was scored with all shooters counting. The Eagles' traditional NCAA shoot five, count four score was 4675. Host Kentucky had a 4733, and Murray State was at 4705.
The Eagles had three 590 or better Air Rifle totals, which senor
Erin Diehl (593) and juniors
Grace Weber and
Bryce Ward (590) all hitting that plateau. Senior
Amber Schifano came in with a 589, and senior
Katie Frye was at 585. Junior
Elizabeth Plecity fired a 587.
Diehl also led MSU in Smallbore at 584. Ward fired a 580.
This match concluded the fall portion of the schedule. MSU will return to action Jan. 29 with a tri-match at West Virginia.
