MOREHEAD, Ky. – Coming off a runner-up finish at the Battle at Boone, Morehead State women's golf returns to stroke play, taking aim at the Pinehurst Women's Intercollegiate in Pinehurst, N.C.

The Pinehurst Women's Intercollegiate marks Morehead State's fifth appearance at the historic Pinehurst Resort and the team's first event on No. 6 since the 2012-13 season when the Eagles claimed a fifth-place finish at the College of Charleston Pinehurst Challenge.

In the team's last stroke play event—the Spring Break Shootout—sophomore MacKenzie Neal topped the Eagle leaderboard for the second time in three stroke play events this season. She tied for 26th at the event, marking scores of 75-73-74-222.

As a team, Morehead State finished 10th at the Spring Break Shootout, carding rounds of 299-304-300-903.

The two-day event tees off Monday from Pinehurst Resort's No. 6 before concluding Tuesday.
