Men's Golf Set For Wright State Invitational and Regular Season Finale
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Teeing off for one final tune-up before the Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship, Morehead State men's golf competes at the Wright State Invitational in Springboro, Ohio.

The event marks the regular-season finale as the Eagles seek their ninth top-10 finish of the season, a total that would equal the most for the program since the 2017-18 season. The 2020-21 iteration of the Wright State Invitational marks the first appearance in the event under head coach Matthew Martin after last season's event was cancelled due to Covid-19.

At last week's Dayton Flyer Invitational, Morehead State fashioned scores of 291-287-293-871, finishing 10th as the team's second-round 287 marked the team's fourth-lowest round of the season, the third-straight stroke play event the Eagles carded a top-four low score of the season.

Senior Joe Muschong paced Morehead State with his second-consecutive top-10 individual finish, carding marks of 68-68-73-209 to finish tied for 6th. Nearly joining Muschong with a top-25 finish was senior Zac Viminitz who finished tied for 26th, fashioning totals of 73-69-74-216.
