BOX SCORE
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State freshman first baseman
Jackson Feltner had a pair of hits to extend his reached-base streak to 28 games and hitting streak to 19, but Murray State nailed six home runs and overpowered the Eagles 13-3 in seven innings at Allen Field Saturday.
Feltner, the nation's top true freshman hitter, had a double and single, while teammate
Stephen Hill drove in two runs with a single. Freshman left-fielder
Jacob Ferry drilled his sixth homer of the year. But three home runs from Murray's Jake Slunder, plus two long balls from Bennon McCullough, did the Eagles' pitcher in.
The Eagles still won the series 2-1. Murray's win halted a six-game winning streak for the Eagles in the all-time series.
