Four Eagles Compete at the 76th Marion Miley Memorial Tournament
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Competing in one of the most prestigious amateur golf events in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, four Morehead State women's golfers wrapped up play at the 76th Marion Miley Memorial Tournament last week at the Lexington Country Club.

In honor of Marion Miley, the Lexington Country Club began the Marion Miley Memorial Tournament in 1945, which continues to be played as a living tribute to Lexington Country Club's most famous lady amateur golfer. In this way, the Lexington Country Club honors the fond memory of Marion Miley and her mother, Elsie Ego Miley, for their many contributions to the Club and for their wonderful friendship.

Olivia Hensley and MacKenzie Neal claimed top-10 finishes, placing tied for third and tied for ninth, respectively. Hensley posted rounds of 72-74-146 to finish two-over-par, sitting three strokes off the tournament's leaders while Neal carded scores of 74-78-152, finishing eight-over-par.

Sarah Black captured her second consecutive top-15 finish at the Marion Miley Memorial, claiming a 13th-place finish after finishing 15th in 2020. She posted scores of 79-76-155, finishing 11-over-par. Rounding out the Eagle contingent, Hannah Curreri finished tied for 28th, fashioning scores of 90-85-175 (+31).
