Men's Golf Has Quick Turnaround, Heads to Indiana

MOREHEAD, Ky. --
Ā Morehead State men's golf has a quick turnaround after just finishing an event Tuesday in West Virginia. The Eagles will take six players and head north to Muncie, Ind., for the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational.

The Friday-Saturday event will occur at the Delaware Country Club and play at 6,501 yards and par 70.

Fifth-year Joe Muschong will anchor the Eagle lineup. After six rounds and two events, Muschong ranks third in the OVC with a 70.0 scoring average. Fellow fifth-year Zac ViminitzĀ is also in the top 10 (9th)Ā  in OVC average so far at 71.7.

The Eagles' 3-5 will consist of transfer Cameron Travis, fifth-year Ryan Gillum and freshman Nolan Piazza. Redshirt junior Mason McGhee will play as an individual and see his first collegiate tournament action since September of 2019.
