• Since the first meeting back in 1980, MSU is 27-11 against TSU in games played in Morehead.
• Morehead State ran its home court winning streak to 17 games with the win over SIUE Saturday. MSU's current win streak in home games is tied for fourth in the nation, tied with Kansas. This current streak is the second longest in program history, trailing just the 2009-10 and 2010-11 teams who combined for a school-record 23-game home court success run.
• In the last two seasons, when the calendar has changed to the new year, Morehead State has been nearly unbeatable. MSU is 25-2 in the months of January, February and March in 2020-21 and 2021-22, including a perfect 15-0 in January games. MSU has only lost to Belmont (on the road) and West Virginia (in the NCAA Tournament) in that span.
• During the Eagles' current eight-game winning streak, the Eagles have shot 45 percent or better overall versus all eight of the opponents. In half of those contests, the Eagles connected on 50 percent or better.

Johni Broome leads the OVC and ranks tied for fourth in the nation in double-doubles with 12 this season. He now has 25 double-doubles in 49 career games. Morehead State is 21-4 in the last two seasons when Broome records a double-double.

Johni Broome blocked six shots against SIUE, marking the sixth game this year he has recorded six blocks. He also enters the game with at least 2+ blocks in six straight games.
• Ta'Lon Cooper leads the OVC and ranks sixth nationally with 6.4 assists per game. Cooper has 10 games with 7+ assists, including a pair of 12-assist efforts. He is now up to 327 career assists, which is eighth in program career history. Cooper needs just three more assists to pass former point man Nikola Stojakovic into seventh place in program career history.

Tray Hollowell has hit at least one three-pointer in all 19 games in 2021-22 and owns a string of 26 consecutive games with at least one three-ball made since last season at Wofford. Hollowell recently scored his 1,000th career collegiate point and enters the TSU game with 1,026 career points.

Skyelar Potter has found his shooting touch the last two games. He scored 17 against Belmont and SIUE, shooting 12-for-21 (.571) overall and 7-for-12 (.583) from three-point range.
